Are there times when you forget to brush your teeth? If so, it’s time to quit that habit and make smile care a priority. It’s very important to brush twice a day. Brushing can help you have a top-notch smile and oral health and it can help you prevent dental issues, like tooth decay and gum disease. So, please remember to brush. To help you do so, our dentist, Dr. Krupakar Reddy Yeturu, is happy to give you some tips. Those tips are:

-Set a reminder for yourself: Reminders can always help you get things done. So, set a twice-daily reminder in your phone, write “Brush your teeth” on a sticky note and stick it to the bathroom mirror, or write a reminder on the calendar hanging on your wall.

-Keep your toothbrush where you can see it: If you keep your toothbrush out in the open, like by your sink, instead of in your bathroom cupboard or drawer, then you’ll be reminded to brush each time you wash your hands or visit the bathroom.

-Keep your toothbrush handy: If you keep a toothbrush in your purse, backpack or briefcase, then you will see it throughout the day. When you see it, you will be reminded to brush. This can make it possible to brush between classes, before a big meeting or after lunch each day.
